One Kitchen, Three Ways: Shaker
Our Shaker kitchen is a timeless classic. Whilst adhering to the original aesthetics of the Shaker movement, the design also offers our clients the opportunity to utilise colour, curved edges and contrasting work surfaces/ materials to personalise their kitchen. Here we’ve handpicked three examples of a shaker kitchen, each with their own individual style.

1. RusticA combination Walnut and painted Shaker kitchen design

This Shaker kitchen design combines natural walnut with beautifully hand-painted cabinetry, creating a warm and earthy look. The l-shaped makes the available space work efficiently, and glazed cupboards create an opportunity to display china and glassware. The statement circular breakfast bar adds character to the simplicity of a single wall kitchen, whilst the bar seating creates a social area.

2. Contemporary design touches A modern Shaker kitchen design

Whilst maintaining Shaker’s signature style, this modern kitchen incorporates interesting finishing touches that make it entirely unique. The dark tiles that house the appliances and bright coloured stools at the island create a striking contrast when set against the white cabinets. This open-plan kitchen is cleverly broken up with an island, which creates a dining area and social hub for family and entertaining guests.

3. Galley style with colour pop accentsA galley Shaker kitchen with colour pops

You don’t have to reign in your creativity with a smaller kitchen. Harvey Jones kitchens can be handpainted in any colour, giving you creative license to customise your space. This galley kitchen maximises the limited space available by having a run of kitchen cabinetry along each side of the room. Appliances are cleverly integrated into the cabinets, which have individual inset panels that have been painted multiple colours to create an individual design.

Each of our showrooms display inspiring examples of some of the design directions in which our Shaker furniture can be taken, and all of our designers are trained in-house to be able to provide you with helpful advice and ideas about the best use of your space.
