Semi-Open Plan Shaker Kitchen

With Island Seating

Open-plan living continues to be very popular with our clients, but it can be useful to have the option to screen-off the kitchen area if necessary. This Shaker design does just that, with sliding doors separating the kitchen from the lounge area beyond. These doors mean that the space can be left open - creating an open-plan space - or closed, to give more privacy. The wall in between also creates a great space for storing books and artwork.

Our client selected Farrow & Ball 'Purbeck Stone' for the cabinetry, and this tone fits perfectly with both the flooring and the rich colour of the timber worktop.

The island features additional casual seating space and a wine chiller, and the sink area is illuminated with clever under-shelf lighting.
