Step 1: Discuss Your Project With One Of Our Kitchen Design Experts
If you like what you've seen on our website, the next step in the process is to discuss your project with one of our designers, either via telephone, using our online chat system, or by visiting one of our 31 showrooms where you are able to sample first-hand the quality of our handmade designer kitchens.
Step 2: Book A Kitchen Design Appointment
After discussing your project with one of our designers, if you wish to progress a step further, we welcome you to book a complimentary design and planning appointment with one of our talented, experienced designers. Starting with your wishlist for the project, our designer will listen to your needs and work with you to help you make the most of your space. You can arrange this design consultation by using our Request An Appointment form, or by telephoning the showroom directly. During the appointment, which takes between 90 minutes and two hours, your designer will explain exactly how we make our furniture and help to guide you through our different ranges and the cupboards and storage solutions we offer.
The versatility of our bespoke kitchens means that no two Harvey Jones kitchens are alike. Every kitchen we design is an individual, bespoke project, tailored to the exact requirements of its owners. At Harvey Jones we offer three kitchen ranges - Shaker, Original and Linear. Our Shaker Kitchens, with their clean lines and balanced proportions, are our most popular and can be designed to suit homes of any style and age. Our Original Kitchens are inspired by Edwardian and Victorian architecture and are a little more detailed, while our Linear Kitchens are sleek, modern and minimalist, but with all of the benefits of handmade construction techniques. When you have selected the range you prefer, our designer will work with you to design the internal specification of the cabinets and drawers and discuss any awkward spaces or bespoke requirements you may have.
Step 3: Close Management Of The Kitchen Project
Should you choose us to craft your new kitchen, your designer will discuss your requirements further and fully develop your plan until you are 100% satisfied and ready to proceed. The next step for the designer is to then comprehensively measure up on-site and then to submit the project to our workshop for production. You will then be issued with a delivery date for your furniture, and we will schedule our installation and painting teams accordingly. In the time between production and delivery, your designer will be on-hand to support you with any questions you may have regarding the design of your kitchen and to liaise with any other tradesmen that may be on site.
Step 4: Kitchen Delivery & Installation
Once the production of your kitchen has been completed, your blanket-wrapped furniture will then be delivered from our Cambridge workshop to your home. At this point, if you have selected our installation and painting services, both your fitter and designer will visit the site to confirm that everything is as it should be. The final stage in the process is the installation and hand painting of your furniture. Our installation teams, overseen by our Installation Supervisors, are experienced specialists and we back their work with our 10-Year Cabinetry Guarantee. You can see exactly how the installation process works in our Videos section.
Step 5: Final Kitchen Checks
When the installation and painting has been completed, your designer will visit site again to ensure that your kitchen is in perfect working order, that installation and painting has been completed to showroom standard and that you are completely satisfied with your new kitchen. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of our business and we pride ourselves on our levels of customer service.
