Our clients desired a bright and modern family space when extending the former galley-style kitchen as part of a whole-house renovation in Kent. Selecting our Shaker design to complement the mid-century touches and completely reinventing their clean space. Taking centre stage, the kitchen island with a hob offers the perfect food preparation area, with plenty of room to make cooking a more sociable experience when entertaining. The contemporary palette combines a softened shade of charcoal with warming oak tones, centred around the island for a sophisticated combination. We love how the kitchen is brightened by the white Dekton worktops and an unexpected flourish of muted pink from the interior of the breakfast dresser, which is such a personal touch. Clever storage was high on our client’s wish list, keeping appliances hidden behind the breakfast dresser’s doors gives them a dedicated area to beat the morning rush and keep the kitchen looking neat and tidy all day long.
