Wandsworth Kitchen Extension

The owners live in a three-storey house in a gated development in Wandsworth, London.

The original kitchen was tired, dated and lacked space. 'It didn't feel very open or practical,' explains Charlotte, the kitchen designer. The design solution was to build a ground-floor extension at the rear of the house to accommodate a new open-plan kitchen and dining room, with roof lights to ensure plenty of natural light floods the room.

Key Features:

  • An island housing a wine chiller, perfect for the entertainer
  • Caesarstone quartz worksurface in London Grey
  • Hand-painted in Farrow and Ball's Ammonite
