Grey

Greyed Out

Grey adds a subtle depth to any interior design without making the room feel dark and restricted. As a neutral shade, grey is a perfect choice for achieving a monochrome look whilst allowing other elements of the design to take centre stage such as the worktop or floor. Grey is understated and a great alternative to other calming colours such as blue.

Large open-plan kitchens can take darker grey than smaller kitchens with a lot of cabinets but smaller rooms need not steer clear of grey altogether. Blend dark base cabinets with pale grey wall cabinets to ensure that the room maintains a light and airy feel.

Pair your grey furniture with stainless steel appliances and industrial light fittings for a modern monochrome aesthetic. For an integrated look, choose grey or a neutral shade for your window dressings.
