British design has always been considered some of the best in the world and that has never been truer than in today’s climate, where consumers are increasingly looking to support homegrown industries. Made popular by the use of high-quality materials and a classic design aesthetic, British designers have put the UK firmly on the design map.

In terms of kitchen design, whilst British brands have often been characterised by more traditional styles, Harvey Jones offer a range of styles to fit every style home from traditional to contemporary. We have been handcrafting high-quality kitchens for more than 45 years in our Cambridgeshire workshop, employing highly skilled craftsmen who have over 400 years experience between them. Alongside 32 showrooms covering England, Scotland and Wales, Harvey Jones offers impeccable service nationwide.

James Hadingham, Operations Director talks about the benefits of supporting British businesses:

“Manufacturing in the UK means we have an immediate line between showroom, order and production, ensuring lead times are competitive and flexible. Having the ability for designers to talk directly with production means the customer’s exact requirements and smallest details can quickly be translated from concept through to production and thereon to our fitters and painters.

All our kitchens are delivered using modern fuel-efficient vehicles in the traditional manner using blankets direct from the workshop, avoiding the use of excessive plastic. This also means manual handling is kept to a minimum and ensures kitchens are delivered in pristine condition, there is no unnecessary packaging to go to landfill or recycling which ensures our carbon footprint is kept low”.
