Our newly refreshed Harrogate kitchen showroom is now open, and it’s more than just a place to browse kitchens. It’s a destination for design inspiration, expert advice, and discovering the details that will make your space truly yours. At the heart of it all is our talented designer, Claire, ready to guide you from first ideas to your finished, bespoke Harvey Jones kitchen.

How would you describe the new Harrogate kitchen showroom?
“Our new Harrogate Kitchen Showroom is an elegant fusion of contemporary design and timeless sophistication. It’s an inspiring, immersive space where clients can experience craftsmanship, innovation, and personalised service first-hand. More than a showroom, it’s a refined destination for design discovery.”
Your favourite display and why?
Claire’s favourite is the new pantry display.

“It perfectly captures how a small space can be both beautiful and incredibly functional. The open shelving makes everyday items easy to reach and, paired with modern lighting, creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Add in thoughtful touches like a pull-out bread bin and integrated appliances, and you’ve got a clever blend of traditional charm and contemporary convenience. It’s a great example of how smart planning can make every inch work hard without compromising style.”
What’s trending with clients in Harrogate right now?

“We’re seeing a real love for warm tones inspired by nature, tactile finishes, and calm, clutter-free layouts. Greens and olives are everywhere, they instantly bring a sense of calm and connection to nature. Brushed metals, like brass, bronze, and blackened steel, are also big. They add a subtle luxury without overpowering the space. And in terms of layout, zoned living is key, still open plan, but with clever use of furniture, lighting, or flooring to define different areas.”
Are people designing beyond the kitchen?

“Absolutely. Clients are thinking holistically about their whole home, creating dedicated spaces for specific activities like laundry, home offices, boot rooms, or pantries. Our Harrogate kitchen showroom reflects this shift, showcasing a pantry, boot room, laundry, media wall, and even a whisky lounge. It’s all about making homes more functional, organised, and adaptable, without losing style or comfort.”
One design detail every client should consider?
“Deeper worktops, especially around the cooker. They give more prep space and make the kitchen feel more open. Adding an upstand shelf behind the cooker is a game-changer, it keeps oils, spices, and essentials close to hand, while keeping surfaces clear and stylish.”
One showroom feature people should notice?
“The seamless integration of clever storage solutions throughout the showroom. They show how great design can hide everyday clutter while maintaining a sleek, luxurious look.”
Favourite Harrogate spots?
For coffee, Claire heads to Hoxton’s North on her way to work. For dinner, she loves The Ivy, “elegant yet relaxed, always delicious, and perfect for celebrating.”
One tip for visiting the Harrogate kitchen showroom?

“Take your time. Notice how each display feels, functions, and flows. Think about what reflects your style and what would make your daily life easier. True elegance is in the details, and those details start with conversation.”
If visitors leave inspired by one thing, what should it be?
“That beautiful design can be both deeply personal and effortlessly functional. Whether it’s a perfectly tailored pantry or a moody whisky lounge, I want people to see how thoughtful design can elevate everyday living, not just in how it looks, but in how it makes you feel.”
