Set in a three-storey Victorian terraced house, this light-filled kitchen needed a fresh new lease of life when our clients purchased their new home in Richmond and inherited a Harvey Jones kitchen. The Original kitchen, installed 10 years earlier, was still in an excellent condition a testament to the craftsmanship of our cabinetry. To complete the new look, the previously cream cabinets were repainted in an off-white shade to provide a fresh contrast against the pale blue walls and warm oak herringbone floor. Our clients selected grey quartz worktops to replace the old wooden surfaces to provide a timeless charm and create depth and definition. Without altering the main kitchen layout our client’s added a new dining area adjacent to the kitchen, featuring charming banquette seating and is connected through open shelving. Out of the way of the main cooking area, a neat desk in a matching design is used for home admin and remote working. Blending effortlessly with the rest of the space and incorporating a top drawer containing built-in power sockets for charging phones and tablets. This kitchen perfectly shows how we can update your kitchen after many years to keeping it up to date with your evolving needs and style.
