Our clients set out to create a wonderful forever home and wanted to ensure that their kitchen was not only a reflection of them but also a space that could be the central gathering point of their home. The neutral colour scheme with natural accent colours provides an inviting warmth and is perfectly at one with our Shaker design. A true standout is our clients paint selection for their larder, choosing to paint it in Farrow & Ball’s Charlotte Lock, the playful and uplifting orange colour was selected in honour of their daughter Charlotte who has fabulous red hair. Little did our client know that their larder would go on to be one of our most recognisable larders and has been featured across numerous home interest titles. Another striking characteristic is the circular oak island, which extends surface space and provides a focal point within the island for the family to gravitate around. Alongside the elegant gold antique mirror splashback which bestows some understated luxury coupled with the rich honey tones of the Colonial Dream granite island. Our client also desired stone flooring, overmantel and Belfast sink as a subtle nod toward timeless kitchen features, whilst still achieving a bright modern space.
