Forest Green Shaker Kitchen
This lovely couple embarked on a renovation of their older property with a clear and cohesive vision for their new kitchen. Their goal was to seamlessly blend traditional charm with contemporary elegance, and their dream kitchen came to life through a beautifully crafted forest green Shaker design, highlighted by soothing green tones and luxurious brass accents.
The heart of the kitchen is the central island, thoughtfully designed to serve as a multifunctional hub for preparing, dining, and socialising. Featuring built-in seating for effortless interaction, the island provides generous workspace while also encouraging a central gathering point for family and friends.
Natural inspiration is evident throughout from the large windows which flood the space with natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere, to the striking green forest mural serves as a serene, nature-inspired focal point, seamlessly blending the indoors with the outdoors. Alongside, the hand-painted green cabinetry adds warmth and calm, perfectly complementing the vibrant greenery of the mural. Together, these elements create a peaceful, natural sanctuary that invites relaxation and a connection to nature.
To maintain a clean, clutter-free environment, a custom pantry larder was incorporated, cleverly housing appliances and neatly organising dry ingredients. Integrated sockets in the larder allow for easy access to kitchen essentials while keeping worktops clear, further enhancing the space’s functional flow. The addition of the Quooker tap provides instant boiling water, adding convenience and practicality for cooking and entertaining while maintaining the kitchen’s sleek, streamlined look.
The Silestone Lusso worktops, featuring a subtle pencil edge, introduce a sleek modern touch while preserving the understated warmth of the space. Brass accents, such as the brushed Barrington Cup, Pull, and Knob handles, lend a sophisticated and timeless charm to the cabinetry. Elegant brass sconces and stylish glass pendants further enhance the kitchen, casting a warm, luxurious glow that ties the design together. Open shelving adds both practicality and personality, providing extra storage while striking the perfect balance between functionality and character. Together, these thoughtful details create a kitchen that is as stylish as it is inviting.
