The Notting Hill Carnival is Europe’s biggest street festival. Since 1966 the capital’s Afro-Caribbean communities have celebrated their cultural traditions over the August bank holiday with a two-day festival showcasing a fantastic range of floats, foods, music and dancing. The route of the Carnival takes in much of Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove, and passes our Notting Hill showroom in Chepstow Corner.
To get you in the mood for the festivities, we thought we’d share some great Afro-Caribbean recipes for you to try at home:

- Tempeh Patties (courtesy of Vegetarian Times)
- Jamaican Pork Chops (courtesy of Waitrose)
