This stunning Arbor kitchen has transformed the space and allowed for a light filled room that connects to the garden. The kitchen island painted in ‘Smoked Green’ by Farrow & Ball compliments the ‘Sulking Room Pink’ walls perfectly. Knocking through the wall between the kitchen and living area has achieved an open-plan layout to suit the family’s lifestyle.  There were 3 key focuses to this kitchen renovation project:

STORAGE

The couple made use of the space behind the old fireplace by building tall units and placing their large American style fridge-freezer there so it wouldn’t take up space in the main kitchen.

ZONES

The dining area is now located near the window and next to the lounge seating, keeping these zoned areas separate from the cooking area.

KITCHEN ISLAND

The island unit is painted in ‘Smoked Green’ by Farrow & Ball are a contrasting shade to the cabinetry painted in ‘All White’ which marry perfectly with the ‘Sulking Room Pink’ walls. The unit has barstools that provide the ideal spot for the kids to sit for breakfast or whilst doing their homework.
